Do your templates contain video walkthroughs?

Yes! You can find my public playlist of Notion walkthrough videos here. These videos correspond to each of my templates, and I link to them within the template. My Life OS template has an additional video walking you through what all the elements are, and pointing you to the relevant videos in the playlist along the way. The budget template also has a separate video walkthrough.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind after my purchase?

No refunds. As I mention on the product pages, since you receive instant access to each template and since they are digital products, they are not returnable and the purchase is non-refundable. I encourage you to check out the video walkthroughs first, to preview what my templates contain. Once you have the template, it's yours to keep. However, Notion is super customizable, and there are many ways to modify the templates to suit your needs, or use them as inspiration.

Notion seems so complicated! Where can I learn more about how to use the app if I’m a beginner?

I first started learning from Marie Poulin, whose work I highly recommend. She has free resources on her YouTube channel, and a course called Notion Mastery. Red Gregory also has several beginner-friendly YouTube videos. Notion’s free templates are also usually fairly simple, and are a great place to start playing with the app.

I’ve purchased one of your templates and am confused about how a particular feature works. Can I ask you a question?

Yes, I do my best to answer specific questions about a purchase. Please send a note to the email in your receipt, including the receipt of the template you purchased. It may take me a few days to respond as I’m a small team, so your patience is appreciated, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Note that I may not be able to provide more than my video walkthroughs, and I do not have the capacity to offer 1-1 Notion training.

I could use more guidance on how to set up my Notion system. Do you do 1-1 coaching?

Right now I don’t offer individual coaching. If you’ve already watched my playlist of Notion walkthroughs and still need more guidance, I recommend checking out Marie Poulin’s Notion Mastery course.

Do you really use Notion to organize your entire life?

Basically, yes! If you want to swipe my entire system, check out my Complete Life OS. I use Notion to manage my projects & tasks, keep a daily journal and wellness log, do weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reviews and planning, track my reading list, keep info for upcoming events and travel, and as a CRM to manage my contacts and keep up with friends. All of those elements are in the Complete Life OS.

Is there anything you don’t use Notion for?

Yes - while Notion is phenomenal for planning, organizing, listing, and creating dashboards to make work visible, it’s not my favorite for longhand writing and composing my thoughts. I use Evernote for taking basic meeting notes, and as a filing cabinet for information and web clippings. I use Obsidian for creative writing and to collect interesting ideas for future use. I use Google Calendar for appointments and time blocking.
